About Ashley

data enthusiast | writer | swiftie | wife & mother

As a number crunching corporate girl, “I have a spreadsheet for that” is my tagline. From corporate accounting to plotting books, I live in spreadsheets and a fantasy world of numbers. To balance out all those formulas, the only logical thing is obviously for me to jump all the way to the other end of the spectrum in my free time, spending my days (and nights) reading, writing, and starting yet another design project.

Planner Girl for Life

Yes, planning is a hobby. That includes collecting the pens and office supplies that go along with it.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

I’ve had some form of side business my entire life, and while those businesses have ebbed and flowed as my path in life has changed, it’s where my heart is!

Swiftie at Heart

I really love any genre of music (yes, literally all of them are in my Spotify playlists), but Taylor will always hold the top spot. Spend a day with me and see how many lyrics I can slip into our casual conversations. 😉

Here for the Numbers

With a dual degree in Accounting and Finance – oh, and a minor in Economics – I take my love of numbers very seriously. I also take making them look aesthetically pleasing equally as serious.

Things I’m currently into

Writing my debut novel!
Reading an obscene number of books each year.
Tortured Poets Dept – Obviously.
Living vicariously through my brother as he reads all my favorite series.
Hanging out in our Discord book club which is an interesting place to be.
If I’m not doing any of these other things, find me working on Dark Midnight & Moonlit.

This is my journey

2020

Published My First Book

This was a massive project very near and dear to my heart. A children’s book about social justice written with my best friend (you might find her elsewhere on this site haha). This one was for our kids <3

2022

Started Dark Midnight

Two avid readers who wanted all the merch for their favorite books decided to start a company. Some really big wins later, and the imposter syndrome is slowly fading!

2024

Writing My First Romance Novel

I quit telling anyone who would listen that someone needs to write Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s story as a romance novel and decided to write one myself. Ironically, I’m not actually telling, or retelling, their love story in my books. But your girl loves LOVE and it led me on a train of thought that ended in an outline for an entire series I’m excited to bring to life.
